As Ruhr24 , the new players will continue to support the ambitions of the team at the league spy stand.

The newcomers include a mixture of experienced and talented players. Previously, she won the championship in the Hamburg Oberliga with Hamburger SV. The offensive is reinforced by Jasmin Jabbes, who changes from DJK Wacker Mecklenbeck to Dortmund. climb in the regional league

The BVB women have set high goals. They are only two steps away from the Bundesliga and strive to win the Regionalliga Südwest. The master of this league is entitled to promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, while the champions of the other four regional league relay teams have to fight for further promotion places in relegation games. From this season, 2024/2025, the masters of all regional leagues increase directly into the 2nd Bundesliga, which significantly improves the starting position of the teams. The regional league has been the third highest division in German women's football since 2004, with the Regionalliga Südwest comprising 14 teams, while the other seasons have 12 teams each, such as the information from

Markus Högner will take over this season as the new coach of the BVB women. Högner brings valuable experience from his work at SGS Essen, where he worked in the 1st Bundesliga. The team constellation will therefore change decisively this year in order to optimally master the sporting challenges. Thomas Sulewski, who wanted to change after winning the Westphalia Cup, will take a new professional challenge in the future.

With the new obligations and the ambitious team of coaches, Borussia Dortmund is optimistic about the upcoming season and the opportunity to continue to climb in German women's football.
