Bad Hönningen, Deutschland - Two brave employees of the Rewe branch in Bad Hönningen prevented a brazen shop theft on June 3, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The two men pushed a full shopping cart directly past the cash register on the parking lot area, but the employees did not like it. Shortly after the confrontation there was a tumult and the thieves duo jumped into a car with a Polish license plate before they could escape.

According to initial investigations, the escape vehicle is a Citroen C5. The Linz police are now looking for witnesses who can provide further information about the perpetrators or the incident. The police accept information on 02644-943110.
