In the night of May 28, 2025, between 10:46 p.m. and 10:52 p.m., a single -family house in Kirchstrasse in Obersimten's destination of a break -in attempt. A previously unknown perpetrator came into the garden and tried to violently penetrate a side window. But the project was quickly thwarted by triggering the alarm system. The intruder fled without getting into the house.

The missed burglary attempt left property damage of around 1,000 euros. The Pirmasens police are now looking for indications of the perpetrator and asks the population for help.
