Serious accident on the A38: Traffic chaos between Leinefelde and Göttingen!

On the A38 in the direction of Göttingen, there was a serious traffic accident between a BMW and a truck that took place around 4:00 a.m. this morning. The highway then had to be completely blocked for about 3.5 hours, while rescue and recovery measures were carried out. The left lane could be released in between, but at 11:00 a.m. there was a new full closure due to cleaning work on the road.

The property damage is estimated by the accident at around 45,000 euros. The traffic restrictions are currently canceled, the roadway is accessible again, but there can still be disorders in traffic.
