Change at the E-Center in Hasport: Inkoop takes over from June!

From June 1, 2025, the E-Center will change in Hasport from Edeka to Inkoop, a family company Delmenhorster. This change of operator takes place after Günter Schlottmann gave up business after a decade for private reasons. Inkoop, which is currently operating several consumer markets in the region, will take over the entire workforce of the e-center so that everything stays the same for customers. Gesa Oetken and their aunt Petra, who have been responsible for the management at Inkoop since April 2025, already have plans for the future of the market. Weser-Kurier reported .

Nothing will change for customers at first. The usual color concept remains and the E-Center will bear the name E-Center Inkoop in the future. The new sign has already been made, but will only be installed at a later date. The regular opening times and known faces will also be preserved. Nevertheless, Inkoop is looking for additional employees to compensate for the departure of pensioners.

range and future plans

The e-center's range for food and products will largely remain unchanged, but an expansion is sought. Inkoop plans to include new suppliers and products, especially from incoop production. The existing meat shop and bakery are also preserved, while the baked goods are still freshly delivered by Schäfer. Edeka remains the main supplier for sausage goods. For more information about the planned changes can be found on the Inkoop website.

No conversions are planned this year in relation to infrastructure changes. For the following year, however, a modernization of the cooling system is due. These measures are part of a comprehensive plan to renew and modernize existing locations in the coming years, which Inkoop sees as part of its corporate strategy.

handover and succession

Die Übernahme des E-Centers folgt einem wichtigen Prinzip der Unternehmensnachfolge, welches die Interessen von Inhabern, Familien und Nachfolgern berücksichtigt. Experts recommend taking precautions in good time, 3 to 10 years before the planned handover to make the company fit for the next generation. Corporate evaluation and negotiations are of central importance for the handover process. There is no absolutely correct company value and the purchase price is negotiated individually between seller and buyer. IHK Munich offers valuable information and checklists.

currently, Inkoop operates a total of ten consumer markets, two city markets and three beverage markets with around 600 employees. With 4,500 square meters, the e-center in Hasport is more than twice as large as the average incoop markets, which measure an average of 2000 square meters. The upcoming takeover will not only affect the future of the market, but also strengthen the entire region.
