Rock & Metal Day'z: Benefit Festival for sick children in Oschersleben!

From June 26th to 28th, 2025, the ninth benefit festival "Rock & Metal Day’z" will take place, and promises to be a great success again. The festival, which is organized by the association Made for Kids , has set itself the goal of collecting donations for needy children and their families. In the past year, proud 10,000 euros came together.

The event will take place for the first time this year on the racetrack "An der Seven Bergen" and expects around 1,000 musicians and fans from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The atmosphere among visitors is familiar, and the positive feedback from recent years shows that a place has been created here where everyone feels comfortable.

solemn preparations

A 20-member volunteer organization team has put the festival up to its feet within a very short time, namely a week. "This is not an easy undertaking, but we have a good knack for designing this event," said a member of the team. The association itself now has around 170 members, all of whom are passionate about helping sick children and adolescents in need.

At the start of the festival there is already a warm-up on May 3, 2025 in the club's home of the association in Oschersleben. This event, which is available free of charge, will offer a preview on the coming days: In addition to video clips from last year, live performances from the band Pandora and various games are also on the program.

not just a festival

The most important thing in the "Rock & Metal Day’z" is the support for the best purposes. The donations go completely to organizations that need it. Among other things, the parents' home for children with cancer in Magdeburg is supported. In addition to the donation boxes that are set up throughout the festival site, the continuing importance of support is also pointed out by the Compressed air e.V. . The Charity Unleashed Festival, which will take place on May 24, 2025, collects donations for German children's hospice services and shows how important these actions are.

A look into the future

The next year will be twice for Rock & Metal Day’z and the club, because both the festival and the club celebrate their round birthday from June 25th to 27th, 2026. "We are all the blood brothers in this matter and we are very important for us to continue to spark a fire in the benefit work," says a committed club member.

With over 20 bands, a loyal audience and committed helpers, nothing stands in the way of another successful festival. Let us hope that the willingness to donate among the festival visitors will bloom again this year and the children get their support in need!
