Edeka boss in crazy outfits: clothes really make people!
Klaas Heufer-Umlauf is known for its entertaining formats on television. With his new show "Expert for everything", he would like to address a young audience and clarify everyday questions in a humorous way. In one of the last editions, Florian Brückner, Edeka branch manager from Dessau-Roßlau, played a central role. He was initially on the show as a spectator, but was brought onto the stage by a random generator and stood an exciting challenge.
On the show, Brückner had the task of finding out whether clothes actually make people. To clarify this question, he presented three extravagant outfits: a medieval juggler, an extroverted fashion tsar and a "Neukölln style icon". At the climax of the Challenge, he performed with a futuristic outfit-metallic strose, a deeply cut shirt and an oversized fur coat-at the Edeka General Assembly in Hanover.
results of the challenge
The challenge was not without a thrill for Brückner because he had concerns about collecting “stupid looks”, especially in front of such an important audience. Despite his nervousness, he finally managed to survive the challenge. His conclusion after experience was clear: "Dresses definitely make people." For this performance, Brückner was awarded the title "Expert for everything" and a medal that he plans to hang up in his Edeka branch.
The third episode of "Expert for everything" was broadcast on Pro7 on May 6th. During the show, Heufer-Umlauf focuses on fun and entertainment, while at the same time treating exciting questions about everyday phenomena. The EDEKA regional society has humorously documented the task in a video and shared on Instagram, which further increases the popularity of the program. The episode can be viewed free of charge at joyn.
a fresh wind in the Edeka market
Brückner only took over the Edeka market in Dessau-Roßlau in September 2024 and completely redesigned it in February 2025. This renewal and the exciting experiences on the show brought him and his business additional attention and recognition. Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, which is known in Germany for its comedy programs and talk formats, should offer “Expert for everything” a fresh concept in the field of consumer magazines that is both entertaining and instructive.
