In Dessau-Roßlau, something exciting is happening: The mill island, a popular meeting place for residents and nature lovers, is being redesigned. The city administration has launched an interesting program that should actively involve the citizens. On 10. July from 4 p.m. , the planning office Därr invites landscape architects together with the unit for city green for a public walk. The meeting point is the area between Ludwigshafener Straße and Tiergartenbrücke. Here the participants can learn what the future design of the mill island will look like.

The program not only shows presentations of planned innovations such as a pavilion, a playground and a youth area with a bank platform, but also image examples and visualizations that give an insight into the planned changes.
