Challenge in the Harz: How Günther mastered the steep climb!

In the magical backdrop of the Harz, a special story is about that expresses not only the beauty of the region, but also the incessant human will. Carsten Kiehne, a passionate fairytale collector from Bad Suderode, has been dedicated to collecting legends, fairy tales and anecdotes from this fabulous landscape for over a decade. Together with his partner Manuela Petri, he has already released more than thirty books and offers guided hikes to make the mystical stories of the Harz tangible. As reported news38.de, on Tuesday, March 4, a particularly impressive hike to the old Paracelsus resin clinic.

During this three-hour tour, Kiehne met Günther, an older man who was sitting in the electric wheelchair and wanted to keep up despite the challenges and the steep climb. Kiehne initially had concerns whether Günther could manage the route. But the group actively helped him to climb, which gave the common adventure a very special touch. Once at the top, the smile on Günther's face was priceless - he called the hike the climax of his stay in the clinic. Kiehne himself also described this experience as one of the most beautiful experiences of his 14-year career.

the Harz - a place of myths and nature

The Harz is not only known for its breathtaking landscapes, but also for its rich legends and myths. As n-ag.net emphasizes, there are numerous stories in the Harz that are waiting to be discovered. Kiehne and its groups help to ensure that these cultural treasures are not forgotten and make the resin accessible to everyone - also for people with special needs.

An excellent example of the connection between nature and myth is the natural myth path near Braunlage. This path offers hikers the opportunity to explore the relationship between humans and nature at nine different hands -on stations. Topics such as the symbolic power of trees and the connection between wolf and humans can be experienced there. There is also a desired tree and a labyrinth that invite you to find self -discovery. Each of these stations is linked to a book from the "Waldbibliothek", which makes the experience of an educational break in nature, such as the website of the Harz National Park

Experience the Harz together

What more is needed than an adventurous group and a way to keep the stories of the resin alive? With its tours, Kiehne offers a platform that not only tells the legends, but also brings people together. Together they promote the exchange and understanding between the generations and enable a common nature experience. The Harz remains an unforgettable goal for all those who want to experience the magic of fairy tales up close.
