An exciting weekend is ahead! In Magdeburg there are numerous events to suit every taste, and the best thing about it: the atmosphere promises to be great. On Friday, July 4th, the curtain will rise on the popular event “ Magdeburg Laughs! "From 8 p.m., four comedians will appear on the stage of Fortress Mark, presenting particularly younger talent from the areas of television, NightWash and social media. The show provides two hours of laughter and fun.
Ticket prices for the comedy event start at 20.29 euros – a good deal for anyone who wants to have a good laugh again.
Musical highlights and flea market fun
But that's not all! On Saturday, July 5th, there are several events that should be on your calendar. At 7 p.m. the Allards in Magdeburg will be transformed into a concert venue when the band “Bloom Live” will perform. Concertgoers can look forward to a musical journey through different decades. Cover versions of well-known artists such as the Beatles, Queen, ABBA and the Red Hot Chili Peppers transform the evening into an unforgettable experience. Entrance prices here start at just 12 euros.
Before that, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Magdeburg Sunday flea market takes place on the university campus, building 40. Here you can browse to your heart's content - be it for new clothes, antiques or toys. And the best part? Entry is free! An ideal destination for bargain hunters and flea market fans.
Celebrate and experience nature
The Gleis 1 discotheque in Genthin is the place to go for night owls. From 11 p.m., DJ Bülow will provide rousing beats and an exuberant atmosphere before the summer break begins. Entry here is also 20.29 euros.
Finally, Sunday, July 6th, offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy nature. A boat trip from Burg to Genthin starts at 12 p.m. from the harbor in Burg. With an entry fee of 41.00 euros for adults and 33.00 euros for children, passengers can experience the beauty of the Elbe-Havel Canal. There is a lot to discover during the approximately two and a half hour journey, including a lock in Zerben. If you don't want to miss this relaxing sightseeing tour, this is the right place for you.
