On Saturday evening there was a fire in the Helios Clinic in Hettstedt, which brought considerable consequences. How MDR reports, the fire broke out in a patient room of psychiatry around 9 p.m. Thanks to the quick reaction of the ward employees, ten patients were able to be evacuated quickly, which fortunately did not lead to any injuries.
The fire brigade was on site with a large contingent of around 60 emergency services and several vehicles. The fire was under control within about an hour. The extinguishing work could not be completed until around 10 p.m., reports the Central German newspaper. The psychiatric station affected is not usable for the time being, since the fire caused severe greatness that is harmful to health.
