Klaus Kuhnhold: The Culigal Roßla appreciate with over 25,000!

Roßla, Deutschland - in Roßla, in the picturesque South Harz, a man has created his very personal empire of writing tools. Klaus Kuhnhold, born in 1951, has been collecting ballpoint pen since 1998 and now keeps impressive over 25,000 copies. What started with a small find of eight ballpoint pens in the closet became a lifelong hobby that turned his garage into a true paradise for Kulis.

The impetus for this collective pleasure came through his son Matthias, who presented Kuhnhold over 50 different ballpoint pen. This initial peculiarity caused him to take over the collection of his son, which included 400 pieces. He overcame the first major hurdle when the collection had already reached 10,000 pieces. In the meantime, the trees hang on the ceiling of his garage and are carefully sorted.

The art of collecting

As Kuhnhold reports, collecting is becoming more difficult these days. In the past, he received many ballpoint pens, now he has to "beg" or fall back on the help of his son, who is looking for special pieces during online auctions. The collector also regularly exchanges with other enthusiasts to expand his collection. The advertising, which is emblazoned on the ballpointpers, is particularly important to him; For him, they are the key to collective success.

In addition, Kuhnhold has developed a fine feeling for extraordinary pieces. Among his treasures, he also has original culinary, including liquid -filled specimens from Poland and funny articles from Disneyland Paris. Some of his special pieces are memorabilia, such as a ballpoint pen with the portrait of Pope John Paul II and Pharaonic Culpts from Egypt.
