From October 13th, the Street of Peace at the entrance to the town from the direction of Annarode in Siebigerode will be completely closed for probably two weeks. The reason for this is necessary renovation work on the roadway, gutter and culvert. Road users should prepare for diversions that lead via the B 86, the L 151 in the direction of Wimmelburg, the L 225 via Helbra and the L 160 and the B 180 to Mansfeld. The warning is valid until October 25, 2025, 8:00 p.m., as news.de reports.

On the B 180, from Walbeck to the B 180 Quenstedt – Sylda junction, the road will be rebuilt by December 31, 2025. The diversion leads via the L 85 and the L 72 to Sandersleben and in the opposite direction. In addition, the L 158 near Friedeburg, Gerbstedter Landstraße, is also completely closed until October 17th due to damage to the retaining wall.
