From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can expect a varied program that will delight families of all ages. The event was organized jointly by the Saalekreis district and the local Alliance for Families to present the offers and opportunities for families in the region. This is the 8th edition of the popular festival, which has focused on the needs of families since 2009.
What exactly can visitors expect? In addition to a rousing stage show, everyone present can look forward to exciting participation and activity stands. A celebration for the whole family
Affected institutions, including sports, cultural and leisure clubs as well as social institutions, will also be part of the district family day. The invitation to participate is also extended to companies and municipalities, which can present their offers with their own stands. Non-profit institutions have the opportunity to receive a one-off expense allowance in order to actively help shape the event. Feedback on this must be submitted to the demographic officer Dr. Dr. by April 14, 2025. Christian Stößel desired.
The objective of the district family day fits perfectly into the concept of the Local Alliances for Families. This initiative, which was launched by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, aims to support the change towards more family-friendliness. Companies, chambers, municipalities, welfare associations and many other actors play an important role here. The focus is particularly on the compatibility of family and work in order to help the parents of school children.
A strong network for families
Events such as the district family day create a network that not only promotes exchange between families, but also provides concrete offers to reduce time conflicts when it comes to childcare. The initiative also supports parents in returning to work and offers exciting leisure activities for fathers and children. The success of these movements is reflected not least in the 320 active local alliances that focus on family matters throughout Germany.
So, grab the family and be there for the 8th District Family Day! An exciting day awaits everyone who pulls together to celebrate family life in the region.
