On Friday, May 23, 2025, an abandoned suitcase in a regional train between Dessau and Aschersleben caused excitement! At 3:25 p.m., the train staff alerted the federal police after the mysterious case was discovered. Despite multiple announcements, there were no owners - alarming situation! The train was immediately evacuated at Köthen station and the emergency services requested an explosive dog.

The suitcase, which proved to be harmless, only contained clothes and a name tag from a 43-year-old woman. It is still being examined whether it is the owners.
