Particularly exciting is TUI's current outdoor pool ranking, which lists over 1,400 popular outdoor pools. North Rhine-Westphalia, where Cologne is located, is not insignificant: the Seaside Beach Baldeney in Essen comes in fifth place among the best outdoor pools in Germany, followed by other bathing spots worth seeing. Bavaria tops the list with twelve outdoor pools in the top 25, while the popularity of day trips has increased over the last decade. In times when a refreshing break has become rare, outdoor pools are more in demand than ever.
