The Danube cycle path stretches over around 600 kilometers from Donaueschingen in Baden-Württemberg to Passau in Lower Bavaria and takes cyclists past picturesque cities such as Ingolstadt and Regensburg. This river cycle path, which will turn 40 years old in 2024, is considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Europe.

Attractiveness of long-distance cycle routes

The ADFC's evaluation shows that the Danube cycle path is not only popular in terms of popularity, but also in terms of quality.
