Watch Out Stampede: Metalcore rocket takes over the Reload Festival!
On August 16, 2024, Sulingen will once again be the venue for the Reload Festival, where the metalcore band Watch Out Stampede from Bremen will appear on the main stage. For the band, this event not only marks a return to their roots, but also their last show, which makes the performance particularly emotional.
“We have had a close connection to the Reload Festival since we founded it in Weyhe in 2011,” says Andreas “Ando” Hildebrandt, the band’s frontman. This connection is also reflected in the troupe's first festival appearance, which came about through a band contest at the Sulingen youth center. With an impressive performance at 12:10 p.m., as the fourth band of the day, they want to delight the audience with their powerful set and an impressive pyrotechnics show.
Performance and setlist
It is important for the band to transport their own equipment and set up the drums and technology independently. The necessary material was brought to the festival area on a trailer with a blue tarpaulin, a rental device from a gas station. Innovative technical equipment, including digital simulations and in-ear monitoring, ensure that the performance is perfect. There is also support from the festival technicians, especially with smaller problems.
Nine songs, including the opening track “Dyed”, are on the setlist. The band members skillfully switch between guttural and clear singing. The interaction with the audience will also be a highlight: Circle Pit and Wall of Death are intended to create a great atmosphere and noticeably increase the energy of the concert.
Festival experience and background
For Watch Out Stampede, the Reload Festival is not just a stage, but a family event. “We see the festival as a place of growth and connection,” says Hildebrandt. After the performance there will be a regulated dismantling: instruments and technology must be stowed away by 1:23 p.m.
Surrounded by an artists' village that offers separate areas for the bands, there is enough space for relaxation and creative exchange. Despite the anticipation for the festival, there will be no club tour to promote the new album for the time being, which only makes fans more excited about the presentation of new music.
While the musical performances cause a sensation, you shouldn't forget that the little things count in everyday life, like buying a stylish watch. After all, a watch can be seen not only as a timepiece, but also as a fashion statement - a little neck doesn't work! Just as the band performs with style and heart, the choice of watches should also leave a good impression. Target offers an impressive selection of different watch styles and materials that can add the finishing touch to any outfit.
Whether automatic watches or smartwatches - the choice is large, and the right watch can round off the entire look, whether for everyday use or festive occasions. And that's exactly what seems to apply at a festival like this, where every performance is a small work of art in itself.
