Shocking accident: five injured in a collision on A5 crossing!

On Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred at the intersection of the BAB A5 and the K67 in Zwingenberg, in which five people were slightly injured. A Skoda, occupied by three people, drove towards Rodau on the K67, while a Mazda, who was occupied by two inmates, tried to turn left onto the A5 towards Frankfurt. The Mazda driver overlooked the oncoming Skoda, which led to a huge collision.

The impact was thrown into a Opel that was waiting at the intersection through the impact, which was also on the road with two people and a dog. Fortunately, the dog remained intact. All three vehicles were damaged so much that they were no longer ready to drive, and the property damage is estimated at around 45,000 euros. The police investigations in Bensheim are currently still underway.
