Anime and manga fans celebrate the great ShiroCo” convention in Chemnitz!
In exactly two days the time has come: the “ShiroCo” convention opens its doors in the Chemnitz town hall. On July 12th and 13th, 2025, the event will be a true mecca for all anime and manga fans. ShiroCo, which has been taking place annually in Chemnitz since it was first held in 2023, is attracting more than 100 exhibitors this year and is expecting up to 5,500 visitors on an exhibition area of 6,150 m². “How nice that you can meet like-minded people in this special atmosphere and immerse yourself in the world of your favorite series,” reports measuring.de.
A rich program
The convention program offers a diverse range of offerings. In addition to the workshops already mentioned, which include drawing manga or Japanese dances, for example, a special Artist Alley will also be set up. This is the perfect place to admire and purchase the works of talented artists who showcase their fanart and drawings. The dealer mile will also be a highlight: Here visitors will find merchandise items, manga and figures that are often only available at trade fairs.
Of course, your physical well-being will also be taken care of. International food and drinks can be enjoyed in the food court - a culinary journey around the world of Japanese cuisine is guaranteed. Opening times are on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Entrance fees and tips
The organizers have chosen a fair pricing policy for admission. A day ticket for Saturday costs EUR 29.00 (reduced EUR 19.00) and for Sunday EUR 27.00 (reduced EUR 17.00). For family and group visitors there are also attractive family tickets and a 5-friend ticket at a price of EUR 189.00. Children up to 6 years have free entry.
