The feeling of uncertainty is also reflected in the decision of some international groups not to participate in the World Pride because of security concerns.

This happens against the background of a time that is in contrast to friends and supporters, as well as the historically difficult situation that many have experienced in the community.

The World Pride in Washington D.C. is not only a celebration of the past and the present, but also a powerful call for action and support for people at a time when many are in danger of losing their rights.
