Saxony's most beautiful swimming lakes: Choose your favorite lake now and win!
Today in Saxony it's all about the swimming lakes! A survey is being conducted to find the region's most popular swimming lake, and readers are invited to choose their favorites. There are over 500 bathing lakes around Leipzig and Dresden that offer a wide range of leisure options. Whether it's the Albrechtshainer See, the Leuben gravel pit or the Malter dam, everyone is invited to give their opinion by June 22nd at 12 p.m. Participation is extremely easy: readers can choose their favorite swimming lake online, send an email to feedback@lvz.de or take part via the LVZ and SZ social networks. After the submission phase, the final vote is carried out on the most frequently mentioned lakes, and the most popular bodies of water are then presented in a comprehensive presentation. That's what she reports LVZ.
Saxony has a lot to offer when it comes to swimming lakes! Not only are there many beautiful swimming areas that are also accessible to dogs, but there is also plenty of fun for the whole family. Some lakes have special dog areas where our four-legged friends can jump around. Dog owners should always make sure to follow the rules of the respective lake. Anyone who ensures that their dog does not disturb other guests and disposes of any waste immediately acts responsibly. There are also often great offers for children with playgrounds and sanitary facilities. If you want to plan a little: sun protection, snacks and drinks belong in every bath bag set. The information about the bathing lakes, which also offer nudist areas, is provided by Swim check provided.
A variety of leisure activities on the lakes
The leisure activities on offer at the Saxon bathing lakes are impressive. In particular, the former opencast mines, which were flooded with water, have developed into true leisure paradises. You can be active by swimming, bathing, diving, boating or canoeing. An overview of the water sports options and the current water quality can be found at bade-seen.de.
Some of the most popular swimming lakes in Saxony are:
- Auensee bei Leipzig
- Blaue Adria in Großdubrau
- Cospudener See
- Filzteich in Schneeberg
