Pioneering annual conference in Dresden: Point S surprises with growth!
This year's annual meeting of Point S took place in Dresden, and the atmosphere in the Maritim Hotel couldn't have been better. Under the motto “Use opportunities – win the future” partners and members came together to create new impulses together. Jörg Moses, chairman of the Point S shareholders' council, warmly welcomed those present and was pleased with the growth of the cooperation, as gummibereifung.de reported.
In their opening speeches, both Moses and managing director Alfred Wolff underlined the importance of strong cooperation. Wolff explained that the conference was not just a look back, but should also provide inspiration for the future. The focus was on crucial topics such as improving member performance, customer satisfaction and the pursuit of higher sales. An expanded service in the truck breakdown business was also announced.
Own brands and growth
Another highlight was the development of Point S's own brands. After the own brand products have been in the range since 2004, they have been continuously expanded. Developments are promising in the passenger car sector and especially in the truck segment, where the new Truckstar tire is being presented. Jörg Moses highlighted the products' excellent price-performance ratio, which met with great interest among the participants.
The event also attracted a variety of exhibitors. 57 partners from the industry presented their latest products, including well-known companies such as Continental and Bosch, who provided interesting insights into current trends in the aftermarket. This opportunity for direct exchange between industry and trade was viewed extremely positively by the exhibitors.
Current challenges and solutions
A central theme of the conference was the shortage of skilled workers, which is pushing the entire industry to its breaking point. Efficiency improvements and new technologies were discussed in detail. Marco Kempin from Hunter Engineering Company presented innovative solutions such as the “Revolution WalkAway” – a computer-controlled tool that allows technicians to do other work while operations are in progress. This innovation could therefore help to cope with the increasing workload and at the same time increase the attractiveness of the job.
According to amz.de, the technical equipment of the companies was also discussed. Members of the Point S community can look forward to exclusive products and comprehensive marketing support. The portfolio of the own brand now includes 165 dimensions of tires and is constantly expanding.
Overall, the event in Dresden shows that Point S is well positioned to meet the challenges of the future with a robust network and innovative solutions. The participants took the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and explore new ways of working together.
