The competition "Playing School" has a new closing date: primary schools in Saxony can submit their concepts by June 23, such as the FAZ reported. The aim of the competition is to improve the children's learning environment through free games and toys and to play them in a playful way.

primary schools are asked to submit innovative usage concepts for a future game room. Parents and support associations can also contribute their ideas in consultation with the teachers. The decision criteria of the jury are based on the creativity and feasibility of the concepts in everyday school life.

As part of the initiative, which was created by the association "More Time for Children" and the Transfer Center for Neurosciences (ZNL), the focus is on the children's development scope. The competition has been carried out annually since 2007, and 297 schools from Saxony have already benefited from this initiative in the past 15 years.
