Tent camp Zimmerbergmühle: record numbers and new challenges 2025!
The Zimmerbergmühle with its tent camp is the largest camp in Nordwürttemberg. In 2024, a total of 193 children took part in the summer vacation leisure. The high number of participants in the various segments was particularly gratifying: the second section and the "camp in the warehouse" counted 187 participants, and the Teens-Week was almost completely occupied with 50 young people. According to the report of Schwäbische Post Hygiene concept successfully implemented to do justice to health standards.
For the implementation of the diverse offers and activities, almost 30,000 hours of voluntary work from volunteers were required. These committed young people not only ensured that the children were able to experience many adventures, but also could make friends and enjoy nature. The location of the event, Bühlertal, offers optimal conditions for accommodation in large tents during the two -week camp, which is suitable for children between the ages of 8 and 13. The participant contribution is 350 euros for children from the Ostalb district, while children of outside 380 euros have to be paid. With one grant, the contribution is reduced to 35 euros ( kjr ostalb ).
Financial aspects of the tent camp
With regard to the financial resources,a total expenditure of around 96,500 euros was recorded in 2024, while the income was around 20,000 euros. Significant investments are still planned for the coming years. A new industrial dishwasher for 2025 is already required, the costs of which are estimated at over 16,000 euros gross. There are also long -term purchase plans, which include new tables and benches for 200 children and new beds in the bedrooms. The total costs for 2024 and 2025 are estimated at around 22,000 euros. together to the destination
The journey to the camp is usually coordinated by the organization Berien. Volunteers are also provided with a clear plan to use inexpensive options. Most teams travel with the 49-euro ticket to get to the camps, whereby travel expenses can also be covered with an allowance. In the case of remote camp locations, collective points for the journey are often defined to facilitate logistics ( Berien ).
Overall, it turns out that the Zimmerbergmühle is an important place for the summer vacation games that not only offers the children exciting experiences, but also places long -term demands on the supervisors and the infrastructure.
