New trainers for carriage driving in Moritzburg: badges and exchange!
Things will be very busy in the picturesque setting of Moritzburg in the coming weeks. Numerous badge and trainer courses are currently taking place at the Saxon State Technical School for Riding and Driving. As the stud administration announced, these courses offer participants the opportunity to expand their skills and deepen their knowledge of dealing with horses. It is particularly pleasing that the graduates of the C and B driving trainer course have successfully passed their exams. This commitment and dedication reflects the passion that is essential to success in the horse world. Participants not only come from Saxony, but also from the Celle and Marbach state studs, which promotes valuable exchange between specialist colleagues and advances riding and driving training.
But it's not just driving training that's on the program. At the same time, the stallion presentations, organized by the management of the state stud, begin in March. A total of nine events are planned from March 2nd to 31st, which will take place at different deck stations. The stallion shows, which took place successfully in Dittersbach, Mihla and Nordhausen in February, invite interested breeders to take part. The breeding center managers are available to answer questions and provide support with mating planning.

- 09. März, 14:00 Uhr: Reithalle, Graditz
- 10. März, 10:00 Uhr: Seelitz – Reithalle Lorenz, Hauptgestüt
- 23. März, 18:00 Uhr: Reithalle, Prussendorf
- 24. März, 10:00 Uhr: Klaffenbach – Reithalle Heinig, Großwaltersdorf
- 30. März: Thüringer Deckstationen – Messe Erfurt
- 31. März, 14:00 Uhr: Kamenz – Reithalle Graf, Brauna
The stallion presentations are now another highlight in the spring, which enlivens the region and brings horse lovers together. Anyone interested in the events can obtain all information at any time from the Saxon Stud Administration. With this in mind, the anticipation of exciting competitions and educational experiences is great!
