Construction site in Hartha: full closure by 2026 - that's how you can get through!

In Hartha, current construction work ensure various traffic disruptions that affect the daily life of residents and road users. Since last Thursday, Dresdener Straße between the access to the local supply center and the outcome has been fundamentally renovated. The work has already started and a complete blocking of the section is expected for about three months. This was made by Sächsische.de reported.

The construction work covered the milling of the black ceiling to the gravel layer, which is now paving the way for comprehensive renewal. The work originally intended for the past week was delayed because a previously running construction site had to be completed. Access to the local supply center remains possible from the direction of the city, while the Wreesmann market can only be approached via Waldheim. However, access is guaranteed for the fire brigade.

additional traffic impairments

The traffic situation is also complicated by a new drinking water line that has been laid by the Döbeln-Oschatzer Water Management since this week. This work causes a half -sided blocking of the road until August 8th. As an alternative, vehicles can be parked along the Sonnenstrasse or in the parking lot of the local supply center.

A large chunk of traffic is also directed to the connecting road between Hartha and Sachsenroda. This is fully blocked from March to October 2025 due to the expansion of the L1362. The work is planned in two construction phases, the first section will continue until June 30th. The L1362 remains passable here, but with possible restrictions. In the second section, which runs from June 30th to October 31st, a complete block will take place, and a detour route is set up, such as ABG.NET reported.

traffic adjustments and recommendations

For material transport to the construction site, the agricultural path is planned from Hartha to Frankhau. However, a possible full closure for agricultural traffic can also be expected here. Residents and farmers are called to plan alternative routes to avoid cumbersome detours.

The city of Hartha has proven a good hand when awarding the renovation work and chose the Chemnitzer Verkehrsbau company, which brought the most economical offer. The good cooperation with the company in the past gives hope that construction work will take place quickly and smoothly.

Finally, it should be mentioned that the main tangent is renovated in several construction phases, which range from the S36 to the local supply center. Depending on the underground quality, however, the last construction phase could drag on to 2026, which is also associated with the risk of additional costs.
