The anticipation for the big riding and jumping tournament in Burgstädt is increasing! From July 4th to 6th, the riding club “St. Georg” Burgstädt e. V. around 1000 starts in over 30 tests. The event has long since made a name for itself beyond the region and will attract numerous spectators. It will be a real highlight for riders from E (beginner) to S (advanced class), who can compete in dressage and jumping tests. The start of the exciting weekend begins on Friday at 9 a.m. with jumping horse tests in classes A to L and dressage tests in classes E to M, as Blick reports.
What else awaits visitors? A colorful supporting program ensures entertainment for the whole family. Children can look forward to activities such as face painting and painting, while there will also be exciting horse riding. A display competition on Saturday afternoon will further liven up the event. Particularly worth seeing is the team competition on Saturday evening, where the participants compete in costumes and take part in the display competition, according to Burgstädt.
A feast for all senses
The big tournament party with DJ Ludi and the Auerbacher Schalmeien will provide a great atmosphere on Saturday evening. Admission is free and the event is open to everyone, including those not actively participating in the tournament. The atmosphere is sure to be exuberant and cheerful! Sunday has no less exciting highlights in store. In the final tests, participants will compete in the S** classes in jumping and dressage. These competitions are also among the important qualifications for the Grand Prix of Saxony and the Femfert Dressage Trophy, confirms Schwäbische Post. So it will be an exciting weekend of competition where both riders and spectators will get their money's worth!
