Rosa Kriegel: Freiberg goalkeeper inspires national coach in Berlin!

Berlin, Deutschland - Rosa Kriegel, a talented goalkeeper of the Freiberg HTC, recently drawn attention to herself in Berlin in a special state direction for young hockey players. The sighting took place in the impressive surroundings of the Zehlendorfer wasps' hockey facility and was led by Jimi Lewis, the federal statekeeper coach of the German Hockey Federation. This is a significant opportunity for Rosa to progress in the selection process for the future teams of the German Hockey Federation. Rosa has not only proven itself through its excellent performance in the U12 and U14, but also puts great hope of renewed nomination for the selection team after it was nominated for the Saxon selection in 2023.

The training session in Berlin was not a routine program. There were demanding exercises on the plan, which included both ball defense, foot work, rail and stick technology as well as direct duels with other talents. The training sessions were reinforced by a video training by Jimi Lewis during the lunch break, which should give the young goalkeepers valuable insights into their technique and style of play. "At such a high level, where the best talents come together from East Germany, you need a good hand to assert yourself," says Rosen.

successful record in the U14

Rosa looks back on a successful hockey career that she has accompanied since the U12. Her achievements are impressive: with her team in the U12 and U14, she collected several successes, including three third places and a second place in the Central German championship. In the East German championship, too, she was able to shine with a 9th and a 6th place. "These successes motivate me to continue working hard and to constantly improve my skills," said Rosa.

After the summer break, it will continue to take part in the Central German championships both in the female U14, which is currently in fourth place, as well as in the U16, which is currently taking second place. The perspectives that arise for them are promising. Rosa plans to go to Leipzig on double weekends to further perfect your goalkeeper skills.

look into the future

The sighting at Jimi Lewis was not only a test, but also a valuable experience. Rosa strives to prove itself again in future central sightings and hopes for an invitation to a country cup game. According to the viewing system of the German Handball Association, such measures for player observation have an essential role in young sports. Players are specifically encouraged to develop their talents and to be integrated into the competition for the best places. An elementary part of the sighting system are weekly training units and regular tournaments that offer a fundamentally good basis for the later career.

With a clear goal in mind and solid foundations, we can look forward to the further development of Rosa Kriegel. Her commitment and passion for hockey gives you an idea that she has what it takes to be very popular in the national coach radar.

Further information on Rosas Viewing can be found in the reports of the Free press and FHTC , which reported comprehensively about their training services and successes.
