Spitzstein dragon boat cups , which is organized by the ESV Lok Döbeln. The event not only attracts regional teams, but also sports enthusiasts from the entire area and beyond.

The ESV Lok Döbeln, with its approximately 80 committed members, has once again put together a program that makes the hearts of dragon boat fans beat faster. Not only is paddling here, but also celebrated vigorously. And if you think that dragon boating is only something for professionals, you are wrong: everyone is welcome as long as swimming capacity and a certain basic fitness are available. The number of participating teams is 13, including three new teams: "The participants", Stangengrüner Drachenreiter and drachennest Stangengrün from the Zwickau district.

The field of participants is impressive and includes well -known teams such as the Carnevalsclub Leisnig, the fast Welle Hartha and the steam paddlers. Excitement is provided, because the competitions range from 200-meter races to the 500-meter race to exciting dragonboat jams. The first paddle strokes will be sounded at 9:00 a.m.

Another highlight is the costume competition, in which the teams not only fight for the win in the race, but also for the award for the best performance.
