The Heidenauer outdoor pool opened its gates for the 2025 season on May 1st and started with a real rush of visitors: around 400 guests flocked to the bathroom for the opening. In May the outdoor pool was particularly popular among the sports enthusiasts. Particularly gratifying: On the second weekend in Juni, around 2500 guests were recorded, so that a total of 11,000 visitors have been counted since the beginning of the season. Bathing director Marko Paeslack is pleased about the increasing popularity of the facility, which not only offers perfect bathing fun, but also a wide range of sports, celebrations and even cinema evenings.

The leisure opportunities are particularly diverse. Six beachball fields are in action and the Saxon handball association was already a guest. In addition, an exciting children's day took place on June 1st, organized by Dynamo Dresden-Ultras, and the outdoor pool also served as a setting for youth consecrations and the seasonal qualifications of various schools and clubs. The water temperature is currently very pleasant 24 degrees, and the bathroom is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., even from 8 a.m.

An additional highlight will take place on September 12th with the traditional star march 2025. For this purpose, the bathroom manager invites the families from the Heidenau day care centers. The outdoor pool has a high priority not only as a resort, but also as a center for social and sporting activities.

In addition to the offers in the Heidenauer outdoor pool, the swimming courses in the Stammheim outdoor pool can also be visited. These are aimed at beginners from 5 years and offer a playful introduction to swimming. The participants can look forward to intensive care in small groups. The summer holidays here are the perfect time to introduce children to the water world and to strengthen the self-confidence of the little ones. Also the swimming school Aqua Fun regularly offers courses that offer a flexible regulation if the weather conditions do not play along.
