Kreischa is planning a sustainable heat supply – a public survey is coming up!
In the beautiful community of Kreischa, we are working hard on a concept for the future of heat supply. A sustainable solution that focuses on the needs of the residents will be worked on by March 2026. The experts from Sächsische.de report that municipal heat planning should design the entire technical framework for heat supply. The official partner is Sachsenenergie, which is already working on heat planning with other municipalities in East Saxony.
Preparations are already in full swing. A first step includes a thorough inventory and potential analysis of the existing heating infrastructure in Kreischa. The specialist planners at Sachsenenergie focus on exploring renewable energies and consciously avoid fossil fuels such as coal, crude oil and natural gas. The community has set itself the goal of ensuring a social, well thought-out and realistic heat supply.
Citizen participation
Another important point is the involvement of residents in the planning process. Those responsible make it clear that intensive participation is desired and that the needs of the citizenry should be actively incorporated into the planning. This is considered essential for the success of the project. Sachsenenergie is already supporting ten municipalities in the region in this regard and is contributing valuable experience to the process.
The legal requirements for municipal heat planning also play an important role. These are already anchored in Germany and require municipalities to deal in detail with heat supply. The implementation must be made legally secure and practical. Provides support for this Energy Saxony, which provides practice-oriented templates and work aids. These can be individually adapted to local conditions, but make planning much easier.
By the final report in March 2026, the heat plan is intended to provide the strategic basis for future investments in sustainable heat infrastructure. It will be exciting to see how the solution in Kreischa will develop and what innovative concepts will be developed by the experts to create a sustainable heat supply.
The residents are looking forward to some interesting months in which they can take some responsibility not only for their own heat supply, but also for a clean future.
