In Zwickau-Weißenborn, an unexpected construction site is causing excitement and confusion among residents. How Radio Zwickau reported, the construction site is on Ludwig-Renn-Straße, corner of Grüner Weg. Mayor Silvia Queck announced that a sewer had collapsed at a depth of three meters, which made it necessary to urgently renew the sewer over a length of ten meters. The return of some shafts is also necessary to install the new pipe. However, the construction site was deserted for several days as technological procedures needed to be coordinated. The work is expected to be completed by the waterworks on August 1st.
City councilor Tristan Drechsel from the Citizens for Zwickau has already asked questions about the situation in order to get more clarity about the unscheduled construction site. - Kantstraße: Vollsperrung seit Mittwoch wegen einer Havarie an einer Trinkwasserleitung, Abschluss der Arbeiten geplant für 15. Juli.
- Auroraweg: Einschränkungen ab Montag bis 6. August, mit vollständiger Sperrung während der Bautätigkeiten.
- Pölbitzer Straße: Neuer Bauabschnitt ab Dienstag bis 29. August, die Straße wird in vier Abschnitten erneuert.
- Kreuzung Crimmitschauer / Werdauer / Humboldtstraße: Teilweise Sperrung ab 14. Juli bis voraussichtlich November in zwei Abschnitten für Leitungsarbeiten und Fahrbahnsanierungen.
