Today, Friday, August 15, 2025, marks the start of an unforgettable city festival for the people of Zwickau! The motto "Stars up close. Pure party. You in the middle of it!" offers all celebrants the opportunity to look forward to a varied program.
The organizers have invited numerous artists. Among the expected acts are the pop icon Leony and the pop singer Marie Reim, while the evenings will be enriched by various DJs and the promising newcomer Tom Twers. Local bands aren't neglected either, with highlights such as the Bryan Adams tribute show and the CrazyBirds, who interpret Electra's classics.
A celebration for the whole family
The little visitors are also taken care of: Okay Tilda's performance promises great entertainment for the youngest city festival visitors. The official opening will take place at 6 p.m. by Mayor Constance Arndt and the main sponsors. The youth brass orchestra then provides musical accompaniment before the crossover band H-Blockx crowns the evening.
In order to get to the city festival comfortably and safely, the city transport company has set up additional bus and train journeys. The night lines A, B and C ensure that visitors get home safely even after midnight. All travel times are listed in detail in special timetables.
