The winners 2025 are diverse: Xiton Photonics GmbH from Kaiserslautern was awarded in the category of companies for their new high -performance laser for the environmentally friendly processing of silicon. Another important step towards climate protection is the recently launched 250 million euro program KIPKI, which provides extensive funding in the coming years. Of these, 180 million euros are available as a flat -rate funding without the municipalities having to make a contribution. In addition, 60 million euros are invested in a competition for climate protection projects. A special focus is on the promotion of hydrogen, for which 25 million euros are planned. The aim is to support municipal and entrepreneurial applications in the area of ​​hydrogen, accompanied by the municipal climate pact (KKP).
