Another important step towards climate protection is the recently launched 250 million euro program KIPKI, which provides extensive funding in the coming years. Of these, 180 million euros are available as a flat -rate funding without the municipalities having to make a contribution. In addition, 60 million euros are invested in a competition for climate protection projects. A special focus is on the promotion of hydrogen, for which 25 million euros are planned.
