Horst Lichter confused: HSV drawings bring unexpected sale!

In the popular ZDF flea show "Bares for Rares", Moderator Horst Lichter was confused by three drawings that come from the comic artists Romano Molenaar, Fabio Bono and Dick Heins. A blue and white flag is shown on each work, which turns out to be a club flag of the Hamburger SV. The seller Nadine, whose husband is a passionate HSV fan, had the drawings made at a comic fair. Despite his lack of football knowledge, Lights confesses to have recognized which club it is. Nadine hopes for a sales price of over 100 euros, but the expertise estimates the value of 90 to 150 euros. Walter "Waldi" Lehnertz, a supporter of FC Köln, cannot hold back and comments with a smile: "Wrong club!"

The dealers show interest in Nadine's drawings after explaining this background story. Julian Schmitz-Vila lets the suggestions start with a first bid of 80 euros. At the end of the bidder duel, Waldi offers 135 euros and thus secures the works of art. "Bares for Rares" is broadcast on ZDF Monday to Friday at 3:05 p.m., which brings the daily curiosity and variety of sales objects into the living room at the best broadcast time.

the Hamburger SV and its fans

in the current season 2023/24, the Hamburger SV plays in the second Bundesliga after being lost in the relegation against VfB Stuttgart. Henning Harms, another seller in "Bares for Rares", brought a self-designed ring for HSV fans who bears the saying "Only the HSV" in blue font. Harms' partner, Billy Hobe, is a primary school teacher and uses her talent to produce jewelry under the label "Fat prey". Although the ring was not sold, it shows the passion of the HSV fans.

Another remarkable piece of history was presented in another episode of the show: an original leather football from the 1954 World Cup, which was hand signated by 14 DFB players, including legends such as Helmut Rahn and Max Morlock. Seller Peter Schreiber, hairdresser from Essen, received this ball as an heirloom from a friend of the World Cup player Bernhard Klodt and named a desired price of 10,000 euros. However, expert assessments showed that this amount was unrealistic, and the highest bid was only 1,000 euros, which led to the sad fact that the ball was not sold.

"BARES FOR RARES" with its extraordinary finds and stories remains a regular source of entertainment for the audience and offers insights into the world of dorming, football and art.
