Senior (88) bounces into Iphofen by car against tree and seriously injures himself!

On Sunday evening, a serious traffic accident occurred in Iphofen, in which an 88-year-old driver was seriously injured. The elderly lady was traveling with her Ford on Einheimer Strasse when she disregarded the right of way of a 44-year-old driver of a Renault. The collision at the intersection to Birklinger Straße led the Ford crashed into a tree. The driver then had to be released from her vehicle by the Iphofen fire brigade and was taken to the hospital with the emergency services after first medical care. The Renault passenger only suffered minor injuries and was still released on site. The total damage of the accident amounts to around 10,000 euros, and the road was temporarily closed during the accident, such as Infranken reported.
