Disposal calendar 2026: digital or printed? All information here!
In today's world, when digital know-how plays an increasingly important role, it is not surprising that the disposal calendar for 2026 is no longer put in the mailboxes in the Altenburger Land district. Instead, interested citizens can conveniently access the information online. As the ABG reported, the digital brochure is expected to be available on the website www.awb-altenburg.de from the 49th calendar week.
More and more people are using the practical “Altenburg waste app”, which is available in common app stores. This app is a real asset when it comes to keeping an eye on waste disposal in the districts and not missing important appointments. From the 50th calendar week, it will also be possible to pick up the printed disposal calendar at various locations, including the district's service companies and recycling centers as well as the district office.
Where is the expression?
Printed calendars can be picked up at the following locations:
- Dienstleistungsbetrieb Abfallwirtschaft/Kreisstraßenmeisterei, Jüdengasse 7, Altenburg
- Recyclinghöfen des Landkreises Altenburger Land
- Empfang des Landratsamtes, Lindenaustraße 9, Altenburg
- Fast allen Stadt- und Gemeindeverwaltungen
- REMONDIS GmbH, Thüringen, Porphyrstraße 2 in Altenburg
Current developments will also be reported in the KreisJournal on December 13, 2025, where all disposal dates will be published. If you have any questions or need more information, you can contact the waste management service company on 03447 8940-0 or by email at awb@awb-altenburg.de.
Health-conscious commitment
In her address, she noted that generations face health problems such as diabetes and heart disease - a challenge exacerbated by unhealthy diets and lack of exercise. The political reaction to their commitment showed that their messages do not go unopposed even in today's political groups. Some voices criticize what they call government overregulation, while others, as in the Trump administration, have echoed similar messages on child health.
The MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) initiative founded by Obama under Robert F. Kennedy Jr. specialized in combating unhealthy diets and environmental problems. Despite the changing political players, Michelle Obama's influence remains felt and shows the importance of health education and sustainable nutrition.
