Promote

creativity and discover new talents

Another helpful call to promote young talent comes from the website Altenburgerland.de , which creates a new writing competition for children, adolescents and young adults from 7 to 25 years. The topics range from personal motives and dreams to critical or humorous clashes with everyday life. The participants can submit stories and poems that are no longer than five pages and should be submitted until the delivery period on February 28, 2025. This is a great way to give young people a voice and to promote their creativity.

The requirements are clear as part of the writing competition. Contributions must contain the name, the address, age, the class level and school of the author. The submission can take place both by post and by email, as can be read on the page mentioned above.

theater and entrepreneurship in Altenburger Land

Apart from literary activities, there is also news on the theater stage. From Monday, June 30th, the Altenburg Gera theater will go into the break break, which gives theater visitors some changes in terms of opening hours. From July 24 to August 4, the theater cash registers are adapted accordingly. The next exciting event after the break will be the Classic Open Air "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on August 10th, followed by several other attractions to the opening gala on September 7th.

Not only in the cultural sector something happens. The young entrepreneur regulars' table in Schmölln, which recently took place with around 20 participants, offered interesting insights into the funding opportunities for companies and an open discussion. Mayor Sven Schrade emphasized the relevance of such networks and made it clear that the next round table for September is already being planned. Such initiatives help to strengthen local entrepreneurship and promote innovative ideas.

The following applies to all of these activities: The Altenburger Land never sleeps and relies on creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and the support of his literary youngsters.
