On August 16th and 17th, 2025, the Schnaudertal in Altenburger Land will be transformed into a lively western town and invites young and old to the Western Days 2023. This event promises an exciting weekend of entertainment and adventure for families and western fans.
A highlight of the festival is the humorous musical theater piece “The Gold of Clayton Hill”, which is performed by the children and youth choir of the Altenburg Gera Theater. In addition, visitors can look forward to the impressive performances of the Wild West show group Outlaws from Meißen, which creates a great atmosphere with duels and pyrotechnics. The Gera band Motor Kabowski provides musical entertainment.
Diverse program for the whole family
The event times are daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., which leaves enough time for all the attractive program items. Children can look forward to exciting gold panning, while adults can treat themselves to atmospheric burgers and BBQ specialties. There will also be hands-on activities and a small western market, which will perfectly round off the family atmosphere.
