Large deployment against ATM sprinkles: five arrests in the Netherlands!

Utrecht, Niederlande - Germany's police have led a massive blow against an international group of perpetrators who are responsible for spectacular ATM blasts. On behalf of the public prosecutors Osnabrück and Düsseldorf, supported by Europol, there were five suspected members of this criminal organization in several lightning -fast missions in May 2025. The accused, mostly from the Netherlands, acted extremely professionally and caused millions of damage.

The investigation that took several months are part of a joint investigation team that has been active since April 2024. During this time, a total of eight people have already been arrested, including in Spain. During the searches, more than 290,000 euros were secured in cash, as well as a crypto wallet worth over 600,000 euros and comprehensive equipment for the explosions. The group had concentrated intensively on ATMs in Germany and is also said to have connections to acts in Switzerland and France.
