Huge amphetamine laboratory in Kerpen dug - millions of millions!

A huge amphetamine laboratory was excavated on June 4, 2025 in Kerpen by the Zollenfahnung Essen on behalf of the Cologne public prosecutor! The investigators came across a professional large laboratory in which a large amount of amphetamine was produced at the time of access. A total of 30 liters of amphetamine base, 60 liters of raw base, almost 40 tons of waste products and six firearms were secured - including a weapon of war. The officials also found cash of almost 30,000 euros and luxury watches.

As part of the operation, 24 people were temporarily arrested, while arrest warrants were issued against four suspects due to the urgent suspicion of unauthorized trade in narcotics. Supported by special forces of the federal police and other authorities, a considerable drug laboratory was closed thanks to excellent cooperation, which enabled production in the high three -digit kilogram range. The investigation continues because the hazardous substances have to be treated carefully.
