Serious traffic accident on L 148: motorcycles collide near Beuren

On Friday, May 30, 2025, there was a spectacular traffic accident on the L 148 between Beuren and Reinsfeld at 2:50 p.m.: A light -powered bike with two young people collided with a motorcyclist who was turned from the L 151 to the L 148. The collision mechanism shows chaos on the streets-all three participants sometimes suffered serious injuries, but fortunately remained out of danger and were transported to different hospitals.

The vehicle damage is enormous: total damage to both motorcycles! During the accident, the L 148 was temporarily completely closed to secure and clean up the scene of the accident. Fire brigade and emergency services from Trier-Ehrang, Nonnweiler and Hermeskeil as well as the Hermeskeil police were on site. Witnesses are urgently asked to report their observations to the Hermeskeil police inspection.
