Heiligenstadt shooters conquer the title at the state championship!
Heiligenstadt, Deutschland - in Heiligenstadt there is joy and excitement, because the team of Heiligenstadt's team qualified for the German championship at Gera at the 32nd state championship in hunting shooting on June 21 - a considerable 28th team victory! [ Thuringian general ] Schatz, Matthias Hartung, Kurt Müller, Josef Herwig, Gerhard Weinrich and Kai Weinrich, showed an impressive performance. The individual positions are particularly noteworthy: Luis Petri secured the 3rd place among the juniors, while Gerhard Weinrich took the 2nd place in the senior ranking. Kai Weinrich crowned the championship by giving the open class with the rifle as national champion.
The German championship will take place in Bau in September, where the Heiligenstadt residents hope to continue their impressive form and to assert themselves against the best shooters in Germany.
