Erfurt relies on hydrogen: New work creates 100 jobs!
in Erfurt a lot is happening - the focus is particularly on hydrogen technology! On June 4, the Erfurt car supplier "Andritz Schuler presses" opened a new work that is all about green energy. Here, up to 200 so-called electrolyseur stacks are to be produced every year, which are of central importance for the extraction of green hydrogen. CEO Joachim Schönbeck emphasizes that this realignment of the company is geared towards the hydrogen sector in view of the tense situation in the automotive industry.
Especially in the current time in which the auto industry is fighting with all kinds of challenges, the hydrogen economy seems to be a promising field of activity. Around 100 employees will work in the new hydrogen division, many of them come from the other corporate areas. In order to further promote this realignment, even sales of welding and mechanical production are planned to focus more on hydrogen technologies.

Thuringia has established itself as an important player in the promotion of sustainable industrial projects and this only supports this development.
But not only in Erfurt is working on the hydrogen future. Siemens Energy and Air Liquide have also come together and founded a joint venture to further promote the production of hydrogen electrolysers. The aim of this cooperation is to expand the production of green hydrogen and thus take another step towards sustainable energy supply. This development clearly shows that hydrogen technology in industry and beyond is becoming increasingly important. thueningen24.de and Energie.blog Future of energy supply lies in the hands of these innovative companies.
