Homemade cakes and cakes from the club members were equally well received.

The pond in the Wied offered the bathers a welcome refreshment with temperatures between 12 and 15 ° C. The spectators were able to sit back relaxed, many showed their recognition with applause, while the employees in the marquee diligently ensured that nothing was missing.

After a busy weekend, tidying up on Sunday was the order of the day. The two club chairman Jens Roterberg and Michael Bumann took the opportunity to thank all helpers and supporters - without their commitment, such an event would not have been possible. The celebrations and the beerathlon were a nice evidence of the cohesion and fun in the community.

In the coming weeks, the region will continue to be characterized by something unusual, such as the Ilmenauer beer athlon, which will take place on Thursday, June 13th. Here teams from 3 to 4 people compete to climb the summit of the Kickelhahn with a box of beer as quickly as possible and to empty the cool drinks.
