In an impressive demonstration of skill and passion, 14-year-old Elias Petzold from Sonneberg won his second German youth Teqball championship title. The German championships took place in Hamburg, where Elias defeated Felix Trautmann from Karlsruhe 12:1 and 12:1 in the exciting final. This achievement not only shows his talent, but also his discipline and enthusiasm for the sport, which is becoming increasingly popular in southern Thuringia. But that's not all: Petzold, a student in class 8/1 at the Sonneberg Community School, also took part in the European Youth Teqball Championship in Paris, where he took ninth place out of 27 participants in the U19 field. As the youngest participant, Elias played both individually and in the Nations League with the German team against strong opponents such as Belgium, Portugal and Hungary.
