On Friday evening at around 7:20 p.m., two e-scooter drivers in Apolda were checked by the police and involved in a dangerous incident. The 19-year-old driver, who was under the influence of methamphetamine, initially fled and injured an official on his knee when he threw his vehicle against his feet. During the check, the officials found four clipt bags in his shoulder bag with a white powdery substance that were confiscated.
A short time later, another 18-year-old man came to control on an e-scooter who also consumed drugs. He claimed that the powder in the bags were his prescription medication, which he shreded with a mortar. However, it turned out that the powder contained gasoline. Both men are displayed for several violations, including the production of amphetamine and drive under the influence of drugs.
