The self -determined, equal and equivalent participation of people with and without disabilities are in the foreground. Many initiatives to promote inclusion in sports are anchored in sports clubs.

The offer for people with disabilities also includes the training and further training of trainers as well as club managers in the field of inclusion sports. In addition, strategies and successful practical examples are provided on the subject of exchange. The Olympic base in Thuringia also supports the development of the Paralympic competitive sport, whereby historically, athletes were particularly promoted in athletics.

The upcoming event on June 14 promises to offer important information on inclusion and accessibility in addition to sporting challenges, which makes the TU Chemnitz a pioneer in integration promotion in sport.
