Stuttgart, Deutschland - WhatsApp announces with great news that new functions are now available for popular status. These changes are designed to offer users more creative design options and to enrich their status expression. So far, status messages for 24 hours of pictures, videos, texts and voice messages can contain. Previous functions such as stickers, gifs and music offers are supplemented by the updates.

There is also the introduction of Music stickers , which allows users to create their own musical sticker to select songs that match the mood of their status report. These pieces of music can be limited to up to 15 seconds in photos and 60 seconds for videos. In addition, a "Add yours" sticker is introduced, with which contacts can be invited to share personal images in response to the sticker in your own status.

With these tools, WhatsApp wants to help users share their personal moments more creative and expressively. In the future, users can transform their pictures into stickers and then use them in their status messages. The new status function can be reached under Android in the lower tab "News", where the "Add status add" can be selected.
